Louder Than Life founder, Tim Brain, has been delivering World Music Workshops in Schools for over 9 years. Using Samba drums everyday Tim realised there was a demand for Samba instruments of a quality not readily available in the UK. Fast forward a few years and we have LTL Drums, the UK's leading manufacturer of premium quality Samba equipment.
Our instruments are designed and built by musicians who use them everyday in workshops and live performances. All our Samba drums and percussion instruments are hand finished by our specialist team in our Yorkshire based workshop before being shipped to you.
The aluminium spun shells make our drums stronger and lighter than their tin composite counterparts. This makes them ideal for younger children to handle and live performers who need an instrument which can stand the rigours of carnivals and gigs.
